As the temperatures drop and we move more towards the winter season I thought I would share with you what’s currently on my wishlist for the upcoming season.
This season I’m finding myself being drawn to more classic pieces that I know I will get a lot of wear from now and into the future and I think all of the items in this list are timeless and would definitely carry through until next winter and beyond. I’m also wearing a lot of the same items on repeat in my outfit posts. I have always been a big believer in using the clothes you buy in as many ways as possible but it’s not always easy to do this with a party dress or statement pieces. As much as I love getting dressed up it’s the everyday clothes and basics that get the most wear in my wardrobe so that’s what I like to invest in.
When talking about investment pieces I don’t necessarily mean expensive but more about any item that you feel you will get a lot of use from. It could be a £20 pair of jeans that lasts years. I would definitely call that a good investment for your wardrobe 🙂
Winter staples for me are a warm classic coat, good knitwear and boots that will not get destroyed by bad weather. Quite a lot of my boots are suede and living in the UK it’s not really that practical as it can rain quite a lot in the winter so I spotted the below boots in Mango and thought that they would be a nice classic looking boot that would probably also hold up when the weather is not great.
