What To Wear On The Hottest Day Of The Year

We are experiencing a mini heatwave here in the UK at the moment and here is my outfit idea of what to wear on the hottest day of the year.

This is actually what I was wearing yesterday. I had picked up the maxi dress in the sale at H&M and hadn’t worn it yet but it’s super lightweight fabric and a light colour so it felt really nice wearing it in the heat. I also purchased the sunglasses from H&M which I really enjoyed wearing too and I accessorised the dress with black sandals, a black bag and some black and silver jewellery.

When it’s really hot, it’s good to wear light colours and lightweight materials that are floaty and cool. It’s also better if you can wear a natural fibre like cotton.

It was so hot yesterday that I had to stand in the shade to take these photos as the sun was just so bright.
