Today I’m sharing how I wear a polka dot dress in winter.
Hi Everyone and happy Wednesday. I hope your week is going well so far! I recently shared this polka dot outfit over on Instagram and wanted to write a quick post about it. I love polka dot print on dresses, but usually associate the print with spring and summer. Having said that you can totally wear polka dots all year round.
My polka dot dress is from Joanie and a great dress to wear now and into the spring and summer months. Joanie have quite a few polka dot pieces in their clothing collection and I opted for the Bethan midi dress with oversized collar detail.
The Bethan dress is a vintage inspired midi dress. It has button fastening on the front and a pretty oversized collar detail. The fabric is a heavy weight Livaeco viscose. Which is a sustainable fabric made from natural fibres. When looking at clothes I always opt for natural fibres over man made ones like polyester and viscose is one of my favourite fabrics for dresses.
As it is cold here in the UK I always wear a vest top and high denier tights with my dresses and most of the time black ankle boots. It’s a good base for winter dress styling and works for me. My bag of the day was my Chloe Mini Marcie crossbody bag. I finished off the look with some gold jewellery a mix of modern and vintage.
I hope you like the look and let me know your thoughts in the comments section below.
