With the new season upon us it’s time for a wardrobe update and here are my picks of wardrobe updates for autumn.
This post contains my picks of new basics for autumn. When planning my own autumn wardrobe I always look at the below categories first, as they are the items you get the most wear from and then I will usually add some patterned blouses and dresses into the wardrobe as I find them throughout the season. You may recognise a few of these items are things that I have shown in my recent outfit posts and the rest are items on my wishlist.
I hope you like the picks.
Knitwear
I love this button detail jumper from Boden. I recently purchased this in the party pink colour you can see the outfit post here, but would also love to have this black version too. The quality and fit of this jumper is so nice.
If you are looking for a statement knit this dip dye wide sleeve jumper from Topshop makes a chic statement.
This cozy grey cardigan from M&S is on my wishlist for this autumn it also comes in navy too.
Ankle Boots
Ankle boots are my favourite footwear for autumn and winter and I find you can never get enough pairs of them as they are always in style. I love these leopard print ankle boots from Boden. I recently purchased them in the oxblood colour which you can see here. I also love the leopard version and think they would look amazing with jeans and a nice knit or white shirt.
I love these bow suede ankle boots from Topshop.
Scarf
The Acne Studios Canada wool scarf has been on my wishlist for a few years now. It’s a classic style that would never date and such good quality.
I also love this supersoft tassel scarf from Topshop.
Denim
I love high waisted jeans and am loving these button fly jeans from Zara at the moment. The fit is perfect and so flattering. You can see them in an outfit post here.
Hobo Bag
Hobo bags are set to be a big trend this season and I love this hobo slouch bag with chain detail from M&S.
I also love this black leather slouch bag from River Island.
Coats & Jackets
There are lots of options for checked blazers and coats at the moment and I love this wool blend jacket from H&M.
If you are looking for a chic statement leopard print coat then this Boden Imelda Coat is a great option. I really love this coat I have seen it in person and it’s beautiful quality as always with Boden I am trying to justify getting it, as I have a leopard print coat from last year that I will be bringing out again this winter. I’m also on the hunt for a plain colour coat in black navy camel or grey but I’m yet to find the one!
