Today I’m sharing my thoughts on The Body Shop Fresh Cushion Foundation. It’s a newly released product that was sent to me to try.
I find it really hard to find the right foundation and so when The Body Shop sent me the new Fresh Cushion Foundation to try I was eager to give it a go.
I loved the sound of the foundation being fresh as we all want fresh looking faces right? With this foundation it’s not just the name and look that’s fresh it also has a fresh cooling feeling due to it being enriched with 100% Organic Aloe Vera and English Rose Water.
The foundation is a great daytime look. It’s got a semi matte texture and gives sheer to medium coverage. It also contains SPF 25. It gives a really natural result.
The foundation is
- Suitable for sensitive skin
- Non- Comedogenic
- 100% Vegan
- Formulated without petrolatum and mineral oil
I have tried the foundation myself and liked the look and feel of it. I was sent 2 colours suitable for pale skin. No1 Fuji Peony which was the best match for my cool pale complexion and No2 Comoros Vanilla which was a little warm for me but would be suitable for warmer tone pale complexion. Both foundations had a light rose scent which I really liked but may bother some if you don’t like scented makeup.
The foundation has a unique application where you use a pad to apply it and it’s dispensed by pushing down on the cushion inside which then releases the foundation onto the pad. It was nice to use as there wasn’t any waste or mess. The only thing I did think was that it would be pretty hard to see when the product is running out as it’s all covered.
I hope you liked finding out about The Body Shop Fresh Cushion Foundation. I have only used this a couple of times but have been really happy with it so far.
Let me know your thoughts below. Have you tried this foundation yourself or would you like to?
