Today’s post is all about styling maxi dresses in the autumn winter season.
I love maxi dresses and although they are really easy to style in the summer, it’s a little more difficult in the autumn and winter.
Today I am wearing vintage looking bow tie neck maxi dress that embraces the victorians and pussy bow trend this season. The dress is the heraldic print tie neck maxi dress from Laura Ashley. You may have already seen this look over on the Laura Ashley Blog where it was featured earlier this week.
This dress is the must have dress of the season from the Portrait of Laura collection. The collection is based on vintage designs and fabrics from the Laura Ashley archive. The heraldic print is so special and I just love the colour.
I have also added a 70s vibe to the look with the Suede Cross Body Fringe Bag which adds a little bit of a twist to the look. I am also wearing some statement earrings and black ankle boots to complete the look.
The Victoriana neckline and pussy bow is a key style for this autumn. I have already been embracing this trend myself in a few of my previous posts.
I hope you like the look and photos for those who are catching this look twice thank you for your support, let me know your thoughts in the comments section below.
