Stripe Trend for spring 2016

Today I’m sharing an outfit inspired by the stripe trend for spring 2016.

Stripes are strong this spring and this Striped Dress from Joules is my take on the trend. I am wearing the dress with some thick black tights, black ankle boots and my navy Zara blazer. The gold buttons on the blazer paired together with the stripes gives a tailored, nautical feel to the look.

I love the bold striped detailing on the bottom half of the dress. It really adds something striking to the look.

I plan on adding a few more looks to embrace the stripes trend this spring, as I love stripes. I think it’s a great trend to play with as stripes are also a classic, so although the trend may fade, your clothes will still be very wearable next season and beyond.
