Today’s look was compiled with items I found when shopping in my wardrobe.
Shopping My Wardrobe – Berry Tones
At the start of the season, I put aside a few key pieces from my wardrobe to use as a base from my capsule wardrobe. I then put aside a few items which I wanted to wear occasionally before packing the rest away until the spring. This cardigan and top were placed in the occasional section purely because of the colours being a little brighter than the rest of my pieces. They were a purchase from last year and I thought they made a nice colour pairing together and wanted to get some wear out of them together and separately throughout the winter season. When making selections from my existing clothes each season, it really feels like you are shopping especially if they have been packed away for a few months, so I feel it’s like shopping in my wardrobe.
The cardigan adds a splash of colour and texture to any casual look and the top is a great one to pair with jeans, trousers and skirts to add a fun colour and print. I love the berry tones at this time of year. As it’s so cold outside, the use of colour can give a warmth and richness to your look.
