Today I’m sharing my thoughts on the Revive marine collagen drink.

Revive Marine Collagen Drink
I have recently discovered collagen supplements and have been trying out the marine collagen drink sachets from Revive Collagen. I had been hearing about the health benefits of taking a collagen supplement but was very keen to try marine collagen, not just for beauty reasons, but for the effect on joint pain and overall health.
The human body naturally produces collagen, but as we age our natural collagen production slows down and decreases over time which has an overall effect on the ageing process of the skin and body. By taking a supplement like a liquid collagen drink it can help to boost the level of collagen in the body. The decline of collagen starts slowly in your twenties and is said by the time we get to around the age of 60 that there is 80% less collagen in the body than pre age 20. As I celebrated my 40th birthday this week, I thought it would be a good time to start topping up my collagen levels from within as well as taking care of my skin with a good routine and my body with regular exercise and eating a healthy diet.
Revive Collagen comes in individual sachets which are ready to drink as they are, or can be diluted with water. I take them straight from the sachet as that’s my preference and prefer the small size. They have a strong, pleasant and tangy taste of lemon and lime which is not too sweet with no fish taste or aftertaste, similar to that of fresh lime juice. There are no artificial flavours, additives or added sugar which is good and they contain a hyaluronic acid and aloe vera extract.
So far I have been taking the Revive Collagen drink for a couple of weeks now and can definitely notice an improvement in my skin. It feels smoother and less dry than before due to the aloe vera extract contained in the drink, which has anti inflammatory properties, and noticed a brightness in my complexion which I’m sure is down to this Revive Collagen drink. My hair is shiny and my nails are strong and I’m looking forward to see if this helps with my joint aches and pains as I continue with it for a longer time.
