Today’s look is a purple jumper outfit.
With the new Pantone colour of the year 2018 announced as ultra violet, the purple colour is set to be a big trend for the upcoming season. It’s a colour that I have always loved to wear, but it can be tricky to wear if you are not used to wearing colour as it’s quite bright and statement so hopefully you will find my tips useful.
Purple Jumper Outfit
I wore this casual outfit including a purple jumper last week when I was out and about. You may remember the jumper from a few weeks back when I wore it with a midi dress in this outfit post. Although I liked wearing it over the dress I think these types of jumpers look great with jeans too.
I really love the purple jumper. It’s really warm and cozy and perfect for colder days under a coat or on it’s own on warmer winter days. The golden button detail on the neck really adds a lovely detail and so I co-ordinated it with my cross body bag which has a gold strap and logo design.
The purple colour co-ordinates well with more colours than you may think. I am also am wearing my tan ankle boots as purple and tan are a lovely match. It would also look nice with a tan bag or a camel coat.
If you are looking for a way to wear purple but want to start small, it’s great to try a pair of purple shoes or boots to add to a neutral outfit. Or you can try a purple accessory like a scarf to add a splash of colour to your look.
I hope you like the purple jumper outfit and let me know your thoughts in the comments section below.
