Today’s look is my paisley shirt dress and ankle boots outfit. The dress makes a great transitional piece as we move towards AW18.
Happy new week. I hope you had a lovely weekend and enjoyed the long weekend if you are in the UK. It’s always nice to have an extra day off at the end of the summer! The schools in my area are starting today so I packed my twins off to school after a long fun-filled summer which is the reason that I have been less frequently posting on the blog over the last few weeks.
Paisley Shirt Dress and Ankle Boots
With the autumn season just around the corner, I thought I would look for an affordable dress that could be worn now whilst the weather is still warm, but would also look great with tights and cozy knitwear as the season progresses and the weather gets cooler.
I found this paisley printed shirt dress in a midi length and thought it would be the perfect addition to any transitional wardrobe as we head into autumn and winter. With it also being in darker colours it can match well with autumn and winter wardrobe.
I’m wearing the dress with some tan ankle boots here in the photos. They are from last winter but tan boots are always available at this time of year and are classics for an autumn wardrobe. I finished off the look with a boho style crossbody bag. This is a great outfit to incorporate this season’s popular colours of brown and blue and gives off a seventies vibe.
