Today I’m sharing a few of my favourite night time skincare products.
Happy new week! I hope your week is off to a good start so far! I have recently discovered a couple of new products that I have added to my evening skincare routine and wanted to share them with you here on the blog.
I find that having a good evening routine helps me to relax and sleep better and the benefits of using nice skincare adds to that by ensuring my skin is well cared for in the night and I wake up feeling refreshed and looking my best ready for the day ahead.
I do like to keep my evening routine quite simple and I love using products that are scented with plants that promote restfulness.
Here are three items that I’m using at the moment.
My Favourite Night Time Skincare Products
After my evening shower I like to use Tea & Tonic Inviting Sleep Body Oil. This was recently sent to me as a gift from the brand and I have used it every night since receiving it. Inviting Sleep Body Oil is a beautiful natural tonic to promote restfulness and a good night’s sleep. As it is an oil, it’s rich in omega 3 fatty acids as well as vitamin C & E. The oil is very fast absorbing so leaves no oily residue and makes my skin feel really soft. The most beautiful thing about this product is the fragrance which helps me to relax before sleep. I highly recommend checking out the Tea & Tonic apothecary. All of their products are handmade in England in small batches with the highest quality natural ingredients and they have a wonderful selection of skincare, bodycare products and wellness teas.
I like to keep my evening face routine simple too and use the same cleanser that I use in the morning, the Cleanse & Polish by Liz Earle. I love this gentle but effective cleanser and always have it. I can’t tell you haw many times I have purchased it as it’s been a firm favourite for over 15 years at least.
After cleansing my face I have been using the Whind Kasbah Moonlight overnight recovery mask. This product was also sent to me along with the Medina Rose day cream but this product is my favourite of the two. It’s a beautiful light and non greasy night cream that leaves my face hydrated and my skin plump. This is an oil based product but is not greasy at all and smells really lovely as it’s scented with iris and neroli.
