This week I have been testing out a new product in my skin care routine the Merumaya Iconic Youth Serum.

This is my first ever experience with a face serum. I have never really known what to expect from them and to be honest I’m not that adventurous when it comes to changing products too frequently as I get so scared of irritation as I have really sensitive skin. I was contacted by Merumaya to test it out and they assured me that it would be perfect for my sensitive skin so I thought it would be worth a try.
I usually wash my face with Liz Earle Hot Cloth Cleanser, then add a moisturiser and that’s it. The Merumaya Iconic Youth Serum is designed to be used after the cleansing process and before you apply moisturiser.
The first thing I noticed was the amazing smell. It really does smell lovely and aromatic in a natural way. You take 1 pump and distribute on your face them wait for it to disappear (which was more or less instantly) then add your moisturiser.
The texture is really thick and it really does disappear into the skin so quickly into almost a powdery feel. It leaves the skin feeling soft smooth and with no residue or greasy feeling.
The active ingredients Hyaluronic Acid is anti ageing and age preventing and Echium Oil is an anti inflammatory rich in Omega 3,6 and 9.
I noticed smoother skin, plumper appearance and it caused no irritation so overall I’m extremely happy with it and would buy it again.
