Today’s look is my leopard print coat outfit and I’m also sharing my picks of leopard print coats AW17.
I have been wearing my leopard print coat quite a bit already this season. This one was actually from last winter but I have started wearing it again as there are some similar styles around this year which I have linked to below in my AW17 picks.
There are many ways to wear a leopard or animal print coat. I have featured quite a few looks with this coat on the blog in the past year. Today I have layered it over a black jumper and skinny trousers and accessorised with some ballerinas and a navy crossbody bag. I wouldn’t usually pair a navy bag with leopard and black but I liked the way the chain on the bag matches the gold buttons, gold jewellery and gold hardware on my shoes. I think it gave a nice finishing touch.
As you may have noticed if you follow the blog that quite a lot of my everyday bags are black with silver hardware which is usually my first choice with bags, but it’s always good to have another option to pair with gold jewellery too. This bag was a recent purchase and I love the two tone colours of navy and burgundy. It’s a great idea to maximise wear from a bag as it’s like having two bags in one by just turning it around the opposite way!
