Today I’m styling a khaki jersey dress outfit that’s perfect for everyday dressing.
Jersey dress is a great casual option for those days where you want to create an off duty casual look and stay comfortable.
I recently purchased my khaki jersey dress in the sale at John Lewis. I had been looking for a dress like this as I have a gap in my wardrobe for a non printed maxi dress and was looking for one that had a nice heavy flowy jersey fabric and some kind of detail. This dress is a soft and flowing cotton fabric for a beautiful movement when you walk, and has some lovely embroidery around the sleeve edges and waist. It also has a drawstring detail to adjust the waist, so ticked all the boxes for me.
I really like this dress as there are so many possible ways that you could wear it. I have paired it with some Converse trainers and a black bucket bag for a modern casual look, but I think it would look great with some chunky sandals and a basket bag too for a more boho carefree summery outfit. On a cooler day you can just add another layer of a denim jacket or an overshirt.
