Today I’m showing you my Khaki and Black Outfit inspiration.
It’s a horrible rainy day so had to shoot with my umbrella. I’m starting to long for the spring to come now and can’t wait to walk around in a nice summer dress and sandals! The weather has been changing so dramatically here in the UK. One day sunshine the next freezing cold and rainy!
Back to the concept that I talk about quite often, of using items that are in your wardrobe that perhaps were intended for anther use when purchased. For example the Faux Fur Stole. When I got dressed into this outfit I felt it was lacking something, and decided to add the Faux Fur stole on top of the biker jacket and I love the result. I originally got this stole along with my blue lace dress to style for a wedding, but I think it’s a gorgeous addition to a casual outfit too! There are lots of textures going on in this outfit. The mix of faux fur, leather, faux suede and embroidery on the top makes an interesting mix.
