Today I’m showing you how to wear a floral pencil skirt in the autumn. Floral prints are traditionally more popular in the summer and are so easy to wear on a breezy summers day. I love floral things and just wearing them in the summer is not enough for me, so when I came across this Zara floral printed pencil skirt in the depths of my wardrobe, I thought I would style it for an autumn look.
I am wearing the pencil skirt with black tights and a plum toned long sleeved tee. The skirt itself has red and plum tones so I was happy that the top was a good match. To tie the look together I have added some deep red kitten heels and a black lightweight trench. It’s a beautiful sunny but cold October day so sunnies were still needed and I’m wearing my Zara Metallic Sunglasses.
The basic rules of colour scheming will work with most skirts, as long as everything co-ordinates with complimenting tones, I think you could style any skirt in this way.
