Today I’m sharing tips on how I choose the most flattering sunglasses for my face shape.

I hope you have had a lovely weekend so far! It’s been so cold here in the UK, as you can probably tell from my pics here, but also so sunny! I have some new sunglasses and I thought it would be a great time to test them out and take some photos for this post.

For those that have followed the blog for a while, you will have probably already figured out that I love sunglasses and wear them all year round. I have quite a few pairs now in my collection but I don’t find it easy to shop for sunglasses as many styles don’t suit my round face shape and have a poor fit.

How I Choose Flattering Sunglasses For My Face Shape

The biggest tip that I can offer when selecting sunglasses is to opt for a good fit. Some time ago I learned that the perfect size sunglasses for my face is 57mm or bigger. As I have a round shaped face, it’s more flattering to have sunglasses that are slightly wider than my face to give a lengthening effect.
