Trench coats are the perfect transitional outerwear for spring. Whether you are dressing casually or for work, a trench coat can work with many outfits and is a wardrobe classic that you can bring out year after year!

How I styled the Green Trench Coat

I was kindly sent the green trench by Klass to add to my spring/summer wardrobe and styled it today with an all black jeans and tee look from my capsule wardrobe.

This bright green colour is a great choice for SS19. There seems to be quite a few pieces around this season’s collections and I love the injection of colour that the trench gives to my outfit here. It contrasts so well with the colour black, but think it would also look amazing with blue jeans and a white tee or many other options. A trench is great for spring and also autumn too as you could layer with a scarf for a little extra warmth.

I have kept some of the accessories quite simple with my black and gold belt and black handbag but wanted to also add a fun and playful touch with the leopard print shoes and tassel earrings. You could really pair any style of shoe with an outfit like this whether it be trainers, boots or sandals.
