Today I’m going to be sharing with you some products that I have been using for garment care for a more sustainable wardrobe.

Garment Care For A More Sustainable Wardrobe
I have recently been thinking more about the products that I use not only on my skin, but around the home and trying to opt for natural alternatives where I can. When Norfolk Natural Living sent through the samples of their garment refresher and clothing wash, I couldn’t wait to give them a try.
The garment refresher is handmade on the Norfolk coast, and is inspired by the scent of the English countryside. The fragrance that I tried is lavender, and it smells really fresh but not overpowering at all. There is also a sea salt scented option too. When spraying the refresher onto the garments apply a light mist and it just neutralises any odours, and freshens up the fabric. The spray also has natural antibacterial properties. I think it’s great for spritzing on your coats and other items that you may not wash after each wear.
The second item featured is the clothing wash which is a natural laundry detergent. Made with sustainability in mind, it’s made from natural ingredients that cleanse and care for the fibres in your clothing. There are no chemicals in the clothing wash, so it’s kind to the environment and your skin! Also as with the refresher it’s handmade in small batches in Norfolk. I have used this to hand wash some of my garments that were lightly worn and was really happy with the results. The fragrance on this one I tried is sea salt but it’s also available in the lavender fragrance or unscented so that you can add your own choice of essential oils to personalise the scent.
It’s new for me to write about laundry care here on the blog but as a lover of fashion who is trying to be more sustainable where possible it was lovely to stumble upon such nice products to use on my clothes. I hope you enjoyed discovering these products too, and let me know your thoughts in the comments section below. Visit Norfolk Natural Living for the full collection.
