Today’s look is my ditsy floral print midaxi dress.

Hi Everyone and happy new week. Just a quick post from me today featuring an outfit that I was wearing over the last weekend. It’s a lovely cotton summer dress with a ditsy floral print.

I recently rediscovered the brand Joanie clothing. I had bought clothes from them in the past but not for a while, and was really happy to see how many beautiful new styles that had on the website for summer 2023. I absolutely love it when you rediscover a brand and are immediately in love with the styles again.

I especially love to wear floral dresses at this time of year and was immediately drawn to the Edelweiss square neck ditsy print midaxi dress. I love the vintage inspired ditsy floral print in a colour-way that I don’t already have in my wardrobe, a mix of blues, yellow and a peachy pink colour.

The midaxi length is a term that describes the length of the dress as somewhere between a midi and a maxi dress. How the length falls will depend on your height and it was nice to find that Joanie provide the measurements for each individual garment style and size on their website which is really helpful when shopping and helps you have the peace of mind that you are selecting the right size.

This style of shirred cotton dress is really nice to wear in the summer and pairs really well with my footwear of choice for the summer season which is espadrilles or sandals. Add a basket bag to the look and you have a perfectly casual classic summer floral dress outfit.
