Today’s look is a black basics outfit.
I hope you had a lovely weekend. The look I’m sharing with you today is using black basics from my wardrobe. Basic jeans and a tee are a great base for any outfit and a really important part of my own style uniform. You can start with a jeans and tee outfit and really do a lot of different things with it. My favourite is usually adding a blazer, statement coat or a colourful shoe to make it more interesting but sometimes just keeping it simple really works well too.
My Black Basics Outfit
Today I paired my black Zara jeans with a Boden black oversized tee and finished off the look with black ankle boots and a black bag. I really love the quality of this t-shirt and always find that Boden do some great basics that last a long time and wash really well which is important to me as I like to wear this type of top many times.
I really liked the simplicity of this look, and also being a blank canvas it really allows the smaller details to show through like my silver jewellery and the gunmetal hardware on both the boots and bag.
